Some years ago I was chatting rugby to a chap I worked with. One
day he brought into work his scrapbook of press cuttings. More
like a volume! Turns out he was a bit of a Quins legend from the
60s/70s. He still holds the record for being the youngest ever
Quins first team player. Paul Parkin. Fascinating and lovely
bloke.

Going back to the amateur era, but one company I worked for got
acquired and my new boss was Alex Woodhouse.

Bumped into Conor O’Shea on the T5 shuttle
Went to a gym and realised next rowing machine down was Jason
Robinson. Going a lot quicker than me
Saw Marland Yarde tackle out in the gym showers 😬

Used to live close by to where London Irish trained. While I was
there, used to get coffee in the same establishment as their
academy lads on my route back from the gym.
Among the regulars in there were Will Joseph and Chandler
Cunningham-South, albeit before they were Quins.
