The usual attempt at mind games by a whinging Kiwi who has form
for this kind of manure

Bit harsh. All he did was state the obvious, that our best
chance is in the first test because we've played a few games and
had quite a few training sessions this year whereas the All
Blacks haven't played since the RWC final.
He still thinks they'll win, and that they'll definitely win the
second test.

Let's see how much Sudocream is needed for the England teams'
back passages tomorrow to ease the pain post match?

Well, in the opening exchanges you'd have said the All Blacks
were the faster, slicker team. We seemed to be just hanging on
withstanding their onslaught. As the game went on we seemed to
get more into it, but our support at the breakdown was
fractionally slow (and that's all New Zealand need). So if
anything it was the opposite of what JM said. Next week should
be spicy!

I don't think we were hanging on until the last 15 or so. We
gave them a huge physical problem to deal with and just made
silly errors in attack. That plus a missed tackle here and there
let them in, but it was a very even contest.

Unsurprisingly Stephen Jones has already posted an article
blaming Marcus.

Gentle dig at Baxter in there too. Standard Stephen… Marcus’s
kicking was poor, fair enough but the rest of his game looked
tidy.
