O/T Japan v England.......Marcus Starts

England: Furbank, Feyi-Waboso, Slade, Lawrence, Freeman, M
Smith, Mitchell, Rodd, George (capt), Cole, Itoje, Martin,
Cunningham-South, Underhill, Earl
Replacements: Dan, Marler, Stuart, Ewels, Curry, Randall, F
Smith, Roebuck
Bit surprised so many Saints lads in but that is a very
attacking looking backline. Would rather Northmore but hey ho.
Can only presume Baxter is going to start against NZ, else no
reason to not start him in this game, other than a slight injury
I suppose.
Marler as Co-Captain.........😂

Saints just won the league playing some of the most entertaining
rugby, why is them having 4 players in the England 23 a
surprise?
And hopefully Baxter will get his chance, but Rodd is a great
loosehead too so I'm not sure assuming he's only starting
because Baxter is injured (don't think he is) is very fair
Anyway - great squad overall. Love the back row and back three

Surprise as in I thought they'd be given a bit more rest so
ready for the ABs, it wasn't a criticism!
I think I'd have Baxter over Rodd on form to be honest, again
not a criticism of Rodd just think Baxter is in a better place.
But hey, it's all about opinions, right?

Would have preferred Sleightholme on the wing over Freeman,
mostly as Freeman seems better at centre, so would have been a
better bench option than Roebuck
