For the November games, it will be as it is currently, with the
NH side playing at their home stadium (Twickenham, Muddyfield,
SdF, Stadio Olympico, Principality, & Aviva). The "final" is
part of the rumour at the top of this thread that the game could
be played in Qatar. The games in July are where there's debate
& potential change from current. Either the the touring side
flies in & out to the individual hosts, or they have the games
hosted in pre-determined locations (the suggestion I saw one
commentator posit England playing against Argentina, Australia &
Fiji, with all three games being played in Australia, Wales
games are distrubuted around South Africa, etc etc.).
The push for the games to be hosted in "hub" countries" is
coming from the NH sides, and I would say with good reason. It's
unfair to demand that a side play a test match a week flying
between Argentina, to Japan, then New Zealand. There'd be no
change to properly acclimatize for the second and third tests,
let alone the jet lag that would be involved. SH don't have that
issue when they come north in November, as all six NH sides are
within a couple of hours of each other at most, and the
climate/timezone is consistent. It would also be better in terms
of getting touring fans going to Aus, NZ, Japan, SA, etc.

Nause alert - current weather in Edinburgh is apparently cloudy
and 14°. In Rome it's sunny and 33°.

I was thinking more beyond the "speech" part. Often, some people
who disapprove of things seem to think they have the right (or
duty) to go all out and either get the event or supporters (or
both) cancelled. As a hypothetical example, should a pundit
agree to be a commentator, I'd hope that the usual, vocal
minority don't decide to aim for the assassination of that
person's character or career. In the same vein, I'd hope that
there are no instances of some clown gluing themselves toa
goalpost, or similar... although I think the authorities in that
part of the world might only have to deal with such an issue
once.
Freedom to think what you want should also come with a proviso
that you don't ry to force other people to think in any
particular way.
