I also went to those schools. Her Dad is called Simon but he’s
not that one. Excellent player and lethal with a little space.
We haven’t got many England players at the moment which isn’t a
bad thing as we have a lot of very good players that won’t be
away for periods of the season. We did very well last year so
hopefully with the new signings can get that little bit better
and maybe win something.
I thought Swords had played for Wales but I’m probably
mistaken.

She’s showing as Ireland on the offy. Which helps to explain
Squidge’s quip that he was disappointed she didn’t play against
Spain in the RWC so that he could say that the Peña’s mightier
than the Swords.

It’s only because we’ve kept the same thread going for two and a
half years now… It’d be nice to reach a point where there’s
enough activity to keep need a new one each season

Updated to include Manuqalo Komaitai, whose name sounds like a
particularly fancy cocktail but is actually a Fijian
international back rower (and no I wouldn’t make that quip to
her face).

She is also a serving member of the Irish Guards.

O/T really but this seems to be where more knowledgable minds
congregate to discuss the women’s game.
Have I missed an announcement about Abby Dow’s new home? PWR
stars tomorrow night and one of the recent stars of the Red
Roses appears to be jobless.
