I have been through and checked this list against offy. The key
difference is that several players are listed under multiple
roles on offy (as is standard for the men’s team, too).
I’ve only listed players in their lowest-numbered position to
avoid duplication. While it would probably help Quins to be able
to play Wafer and Peña in two positions simultaneously, we have
to be realistic about these things. Neither of them are
Robshaws.

In other news, Claudia Pena has acquitted herself well against
the Black Ferns, and is now the on-field captain.

With PWR kicking off in two weeks, what do we think is the
strongest XXIII? My starter for 10 would be:
Delgado (Spa) Powell (Eng) Hanlon (Eng)
Bonar (Sco) Lochner (SA)
Wythe (Eng) Callender (Wal)
Wafer (Ire)
Packer (Eng) Cromack (Eng)
Tuima (Eng) Peña Hidalgo (Spain)
Neumann (Wal) Kildunne (Eng) Shillaker (Eng)
Phillips (Wal) Turani (Ita) Winstanley (Eng)
Fleming (Wal) Konkel (Sco)
Swords (Eng) Powell (Wal) Parry (Eng)
...though that's a bit light on EQP, so maybe we will see
something with more of a bias towards the English contingent.

Would go with Crompton or Torley rather than Neumann on the wing
which is an extra Eqp also Swords is Irish.

Good spot. She sounds about as Irish as I do, mind.
I thought about putting Crompton in (and I had Torley on the
bench but then swapped in Parry), but Neumann was the starter
for most of last season. There's a good chance Tyla Shirley will
be getting game time at lock, too.

Neumann was not that impressive in the World Cup but virtually
every Welsh player falls into that description, she lacks a bit
of top end pace and is 32 so perhaps time for us to look at the
alternatives who are Eqp and much younger.
We are not short of options on the wing.

Heather Cowell didn't get much ball to play with on Sunday.
But, she can be lethal.
I would maybe consider her and Shillaker on the wings.
(Also - she is a local girl Chase Bridge/Orleans Park so I am
quite biased towards her being involved.)

Fair points - and Cowell did well with what she did get.
They also have Solana Shaw de Leon as a senior development
player. Probably a season or two before she's ready to start but
having watched her in a number of age grade sides I am keen to
see if the pace she had at that level translates to the senior
game.
