Leaney has been confirmed with an Aussie deal for 2025. Im
guessing she will be gone at the end of the season

I am expecting most of the non-UK overseas players to head home
at the end of the season - a lot of them came here as prep for
RWC 2025, but with initiatives like the new(ish) US Women's
Elite Rugby it was always likely to be a temporary thing.
I think the overall plan has long been to have as many of the
best players as possible in England for 2025 and use RWC 25 as a
springboard for the women's game globally. Hence why PWR agreed
to a compressed season to be completed before W6N, allowing all
the players to then go into extended RWC training camps.

I saw that too - not many Quins in the retained squad at all,
which I suppose reflects the international nature of our current
squad.
