As far as has been reported, Abby Dow is still unattached -
which may be a function of her having focused on the RWC rather
than finding a new club. There may also be a challenge in that
her departure from Trailfinders came after many clubs had done
their recruitment - so whether there is one with space to pay
her may be an issue.

Looks like there's going to be a new signing from NZ announced
at 4pm...

There were rumours linking her to Sale and Loughborough, she
lives near Winchester and has always seemed keen to stay there
which explains her past clubs, Wasps. Harlequins and Ealing.
Clubs are still adding players Trailfinders signed Maya Montiel
yesterday.

Yeah I saw the BBC article about where everyone is playing still
has her unattached. I thought I saw something here though that
said she would announced after the RWC. Just surprised we're
less than 36 hours from PWR starting and there's been no
mention.

Also this was released yesterday, which is good news for the
PWR.

I would think that 2 passports = 2 signings

I think wish-list would be someone like Jorja Miller (which
would make our back-row options obscenely good) or Braxton
Sorensen-McGee, or possibly Ruby Tui (who doesn't appear to have
returned home from her spell covering the World cup - she also
commented under the clubs post when someone tagged her in with
"I wish"). I mean, honestly, there's not many of the Black Ferns
who wouldn't improve the group....

Ruby Tui was having a drink in The Sun last Friday. She had been
talking to Cadan Murley earlier in the evening. So maybe . . .

Mikaele-Tu'u and Sae joined as injury cover till March.
Guess the question is who are they covering?

At a guess, looking at the "unavailable" list and assuming that
injury cover works like in the men's game (i.e. you can only
sign cover of equivalent or lower quality) they could be
covering for Callender and Wafer.
Al Cal was injured at the end of last season and Wafer was
recovering from an ACL injury. Although they both played in RWC
2025, it's possible that they both need more time for proper
rehab. The only other back rower I can see on the unavailable
list is Kolev.
Still, either way excellent additions to the squad.
