According to the interview with Laurie, we are in a transitional
stage with players and no other signing are planned
It’s on YouTube, Twitter, FOTS, etc

That's not quite what he said. He said they're backing the men's
squad, including those that are coming up from the academy but
they would consider recruitment if they see someone who would
complement that.
He than said that the women's squad was running to a different
timetable and some contracts are still being finalised.

Oh, and he also said that there are some roles in the coaching
and support setup that they are looking to fill

I'm not unhappy about no further men's signings, if that's how
it pans out. We have a very good core of players. Yes, we'll
miss Andre, but no other team had a player like him anyway. Our
younger players are getting better and better, and with our long
term injured players back, we've got a very strong squad.

I'm sort of happy with that but can't see how we an be still
using all the salary cap, which has gone up a cool million this
year

As for the salary cap wonder how many of the players we’ve had
to increase wage to keep them, would have to factor that in

Northmore coming on for Andre around the 50 minute mark in the
final game suggests that the 12 shirt will be Luke’s next
season. With a full offseason to adapt our game plan, I’d be
very surprised if Nev used Luke in the same manner that Andre
was relied upon to deliver.

Hard to see how we won't have a weaker squad next season
compared to this. Three high profile departures, only one
replaced at anything like a similar level.
Wonder if we'll really be spending up to the increased cap.

Ultimately, we are gambling a lot. If we've lost with the likes
of Collier, Andre and Louis, to not really replace them is a big
risk. We might get lucky again of course, but to lose a few key
players and then say we are still spending up to cap is a bit of
a concern.
If we don't then get a proper defensive coach in, anyone
thinking we can get into the top 4 next season with the
strengthening other teams around us will be a stretch too far.
Whilst this might be my classic negativity, I did predict 3 of
the 4 teams to finish in the top 4 this season.
