We also got to a Champions cup semi-final and didn't discredit
ourselves. Got to look at the season in the round.

Not to Labour the point but we have conceded 42.9 ppg since
flannery left the building in march.
Not going to win many premierships like that.

That's kind of my point, bring in a defence coach and I think it
will make the world of difference. Thats why I don't understand
some of the comments on here and on line. Wholesale changes not
needed imo

Try having some expectations instead of passively accepting
failure.
We’re as good as all the teams above us based on our squad
strength.

Ultimately, are Quins a bad team - No (Honestly!)
Are Quins better than the teams who actually made the playoffs?
No. Maybe on the right day, with the right wind and what have
you, but over the course of the season, its clear we aren't, if
we were, we simply would have won more than they did.
We don't need a massive clear out, but what we do need is a
defensive coach, and we still lack some good quality incomings,
putting a lot of pressure on fairly unknown or rarely tested
younger players in the team.
It's important we do address this, as otherwise if we continue
the slide we have (post winning in 21 and subsequently doing
worse each season) we will then fail to convince the top players
we have a project worth going to, and with London rent being
higher, you'd probably then go to someone like Bath.

I don’t disagree as I don’t think we’re a bad team either. Which
is why it’s disappointing we had a poor league season. 50% win
rate with those players is not good enough
I also agree we desperately need a decent defence coach
Not sure who those untested players are you mention. Apart from
the odd one coming on as a sub who do you mean? Genuine question
?
In the league I can’t think of any

Try reading what I have said instead of making incorrect
judgements.
We are as good as those above us, hence I don't think huge
changes are needed, just some smart ones.

Cleeves is one, as he will be pretty much in and around the
first team. It will be interesting to see who replaces Louis, I
imagine it will be Murley and David, but an injury to either
could see Cleeves given more responsibility (certainly for
rotation, or if others get injured).
The main one will be Lennox who really hasn’t had many games for
us the last 2 seasons for one reason or another, so to then as
it stands be expected to start as our 12 is a big ask. At least
that’s what I’m assuming, as I’m hoping we don’t continue with
Northmore at 12. Either that or there is a good player as of yet
unknown coming in, but I doubt that.

Well there's not much point in Quins players living in London -
they'll spend most of their time in Guildford. I don't imagine
Guildford is any more expensive than Bath, although I suppose
they could live in Bristol.
That is also very old ground.
