Fine margins. There are very few teams that can cope with our
attack. If we can defend better, I would never bet against us.
Biggest surprise for me today was our scrum being bullied.

The Board should explain why we let the defence coach go mid
season. Has been a disaster ever since. Shipping points like
water.

None of our front row today shone which was worrying.
we have a good attack but it’s me meaningless if we can’t
defend, and come up against a team that is slightly more
switched on overall. Cannot argue with our points against, it’s
frankly some of the worst I’ve seen.
This is classic Quins though. We usually slowly fade away year
after year once winning the title. I think it will probably take
another season where we will probably be wrestling it out with
Falcons, Glaws and maybe Tigers looking down rather then up.

I think we need a top class defence coach (Sinfield would be
nice) plus a head coach who will allow defence to be a much
higher priority in the overall approach. Too many more of these
humiliations could see us lose some of our best players when
their contracts are up.

Fine margins for me. The top 7 all would think they have enough
to get the play offs this season. we had good times and bad
times. I dont think huge changes are needed, defence coach yes
but on the whole we have a good squad and some good youngsters
moving up (and despite what has been said, I still expect a few
signings). I expect us to be amongst it next season and
certainly dont see reasons to fear next season.

A dreadful second half. Bristol were better everywhere so fair
play. A well coached side, on paper they are no better than us
but for whatever reason our defence crumbled again, and games
are played on the pitch not paper. Under pressure yet again we
fold.
6th place I’m afraid is not good enough. A disappointing end to
a season of promise, ends up a failure. None of the teams above
are stacked with noticeably better players than us so it can
only come down to player under performance or poor coaching
compared to the others.
Unless we have some good replacements next season, this is will
get worse as as it stands right now, we’re weaker next season
squad wise. Hopefully some new additions pending

100%. Defence genuinely awful today. You've either got to go all
out to slow the opposition ball down or fan out and have a solid
wall. We did neither and it was embarrassing that Bristol
consistently got to the edge after about two phases.

Which of the five teams above us doesn't deserve to be there?
Try giving credit to other teams rather than slating Quins.
