       PROUD TO BE A QUIN

Not sure how this weekend will turn out but knowing Quins it
wont be easy on the nerves.
Just wanted to say beforehand how proud I am to be a Quin, the
way we play and the approach we take to rugby is just fantastic
       to watch.
It isn't perfect of course, nothing is, but we have proved we
have the ability to mix it with the best teams in Europe and be
       competitive with anybody we face.
Have had some fantastic memories this season especially and
       hopefully more to come.
       Proud whatever happens COYQ!!

We'll have less of your positivity on here if you don't mind!!!
Seriously, I agree 100%. I can't think many would want to watch
any other club, unless they're looking beyond just the rugby.

Great post. I tend to be a lurker more than a poster nowadays,
but whatever our gripes at some results, I'd rather follow Quins
than any other Prem team. The ups and downs are part of the
journey and the way the team plays is key to that (yes, I'd
prefer *some* defending sometimes, but hey ho!
Also, I was a big fan of Mark Evans leadership of the club, but
I think Laurie Dalrymple has doen an incredible job and probably
shades Mark now. Laurie tapped into what it is like to be a
Quins supporter and has added to it.

LD has done a very good job at the club, picking up the pieces
of David Ellis' shambolic tenure (in my view).

They had different jobs. Mark put in place all the elements
needed to be a successful club - though not without some
mis-steps like relegation. Laurie has had to shepherd the club
through arguably its most difficult period, and maximise what
we're getting out of all those elements to turn a profit. I'm
not sure it's even sensible to rank them.

Agree. However, if we could spend less investing in Turnstiles
to play in the Quarters it would be bl**dy marvellous!

Yes, I agree. And they have been CEOs at different steps in the
Club's evolution. Mark Evans was CEO in the early stages of
professional rugby and was a former player. Laurie is a sports
       professional.
