Will be good to see what Bomb can make of him.

I might be wrong, but from what I have seen we are one of the
only clubs that have confirmed we will spend to the cap. Sure
Falcons, Bristol, Exeter and Gloucs have confirmed they will not
be? (Not seen anything yet from others).

Sarries won’t spend to the cap. They don’t believe in such
       things.

As honkytonk points out - the club has confirmed that they will
be spending up to the cap - so, my thinking is:
Andre is leaving. But, he was probably a marquee player - so
       outside the cap anyway.
Botta + Collier are leaving and Titi is arriving. I expect that
Titi's salary may be higher than either Botta or Collier - -
but, we probably make a small saving here.
Lovejoy was an injury replacement and was therefore outside the
       cap.
Lynagh was only on an academy contract - so, he was probably not
       earning a huge amount.
CCS was also an injury replacement. If he joins on a full time
contract, then he will probably use the money saved from Lynagh
       + Botta/Collier
So, my point is, that as there are only a few leaving, there can
       only be a few joiners.

I know Pat Lam has said they won't but I absolutely don't
believe that... Bristol have been one of the biggest supporters
of the cap going up, have the richest owner in the prem, and
historically always spend big, but now they're just not going
       to?

Whilst Andre may be our marquee player, he's still had a year of
his contract paid out, so that itself should be in theory extra
money we could use, i doubt we will.

How are "academy contracts" structured? As he last re-signed
with us in 2021 (at the age of 21) I can just about see how that
can be an "academy contract" - but surely it must have evolved
over the years since? He's now 24 - is he really still on
academy pay? Is that even legal?

Yes - but the money isn't within the cap.
And - the money we saved will just go towards reducing the
       club's debts.

Actually - you could be right about him not being on an academy
contract any more. I think that is my mistake.
But - I don't know how academy contracts work.

Apparently Lynagh was on a decent contract. Certainly a lot more
       than a regular academy player
