I wonder... If England hadn't had the Manu-esque obsession with
Dan Cole, and Will had earned more caps, would he have been
tempted to stay?

A big loss. Our scrum has been a real weapon in recent seasons
and given us a consistent attacking platform.

Top tier scrummager and all round nice guy. Always a joy
watching him feast on gigantic French packs in the scrum who
seemed surprised that being massive didn't count for much
against one of the very best technicians. He'll have a great
time in France, I'm sure. Real shame to lose him but he's earned
his payday!

Here's an idea:
Bomb goes on the Lions tour as scrum coach and proves his Test
coach credentials beyond doubt. 2026 he gets snapped up by a
Test team wanting to sort their scrum before the World Cup.
Collier returns to the Stoop for the 2026/7 season as scrum
coach
