       OT Porto Club Rugby

       As we were due to be in Porto for the Toulouse game I took the
       precaution of finding the nearest thing I could to a rugby club
       to make sure that I could watch the game.  This turned out to be
       here -

       I contacted the proprietor in advance who agreed that yes, the
       game would be shown, and that I would be more than welcome to
       show up.
       On the day we were horrified to find a note on the door telling
       us that the club was shut on Sundays.  Nevertheless we rang the
       doorbell and were immediately welcomed in by two girls who had
       opened the club specifically to cater for ME!  Absolutely
       fantastic sports bar - cavernous and full of memorabilia and all
       for ME!  Needless to say, I did my best to drink and eat to the
       full!  The proprietor, who is 50 or so, was away playing at a
       tounament in Evora (he is a hooker) so I wasn't able to thank
       him personally tho' of course I have written since.  I just
       wanted to point this place out as being a fabulous location for
       watching rugby in what is becoming a big weekend destination. Do
       give it a try and pass on my best wishes to Diogas should you
       see him there.
