He's in great form for sure, and clearly in the conversation for
best in the world. But Dupont is capable of things that JGP
isn't and can influence matches regardless of the opposition or
teammates or match situation. And I've never seen Dupont play as
badly as JGP did in his early days in Ireland.

What still amazes me about that experiment is that at no point
during training the week before did anyone on the coaching team
think “Hang on a minute chaps, not sure this is going to work as
well as we think…” and put someone else in at 9
