Oh look it seems my idea had traction. Current comment on saints
board..
“ Well today he proved he isn’t professional or impartial. He
has made himself look like a cheat. He went for the card, saw it
was Care then changed his mind so he gets to play next week.
This wasn’t just a poor ref, this was out and out cheating.”
Would this comment have been posted if KD wasn’t a former
player?? Yes or no will suffice lads #smug

Would Quins still have beaten Saints today if a non ex-Quins
player was the ref instead?
Unlikely.

Genuinely brain dead. Dickson's errors have killed us in other
matches. His error today gifted Saints a try. His failure to
spot foul play led to the situation you're crying about.
He had no issue giving card after card to Quins players. So with
one decision where he and the tmo decided it wasn't worth a
yellow, he's suddenly corrupt rather than just a poor ref?
It was crushingly inevitable that after your dreamed of defeat
didn't happen, you'd focus on trying to make out our six try win
was cheated. Properly laughable.

You're a one-eyed fool living in an echo chamber. Care would
have been sent off for a second yellow if it was any other
referee.
It's disgraceful.

Indeed, no other ref has ever decided to take a closer look at a
decision when there is a risk of a red card. Oh, hang on...
What's one eyed and disgraceful is accusing a ref of being
corrupt because you disagree with one of his decisions in a
match where he punished Quins severely on multiple occasions,
and gifted the opposition 7 points with a mistake he refused to
revisit despite it being shown on the big screen. You'd have to
be an actual moron to think that is corruption.
We all get it - you're desperate to have something to crow about
after repeatedly embarrassing yourself on here and Quins refusal
to capitulate. But yet again all you're doing is digging a
massive hole for yourself. Shameful stuff.

Thought the penalty was for the push, ball was out and Care
played it

This thread is exactly what I was wanting to avoid saying KD
should not ref us. Whilst he is utterly useless, the Care
incident/fall out is exactly what should have been avoided.

Northampton were writing that script before the game was even
played. And if not writing it, they certainly did not rush to
say they were sure of Dickson's neutrality!
As for the DC thing, I thought it was an instinctive action
going for the card, then the other part of the brain said "hang
on, this is important, we'd better check this!". When they did,
they found it wasn't what it looked like.
