However this game ends, it is much more pleasant than the
fixture at the stoop

Looks like we were lucky with the second Lynagh try -
commentators were right for once, Marcus does come in at the
side. Penalty advantage at the time, but still...

Frustrating first half. Customary slow start coupled with
inaccuracies, particularly at lineout time, and Marcus's short
kicking game not quite on it.
Lads need to up their level in the second half.
I'd be tempted to bring DC on at half time for his kicking game.

Just like Sale were lucky that it wasn’t a penalty try and
yellow card for Curry after he got around the wrong side
illegally and then just tackled Riley going over the line.
Sale are a physical side, full of niggle and you rely on a
strong reffing team which we haven’t had. Wiese challenge is a
clear red card, purposefully targeting the neck and head with a
shoulder charge. It was only luck Dommers didn’t suffer a
serious injury

If we win it’s great. If we lose it’s all the refs fault

Commentary team discussing Smith's kicking percentage and
ignoring the obvious fact that quins almost never take easy
points, so kicking difficulty almost always depends on try
position. And our propensity to score on the wings or direct
from 5m lineouts.

Nice memory of when we had decent buildup music at the stoop.
