Dillon to within an inch of his life - if anyone can coach him
to scrummage, it's Jones.

scary oppo 23s I've seen for a while. No disrespect meant -
feels like a few Prem clubs are going through, or about to go
through, transition phases at the moment and Sale are one of
them.

Our backline is arguably our first choice (Raffi v Gus being the
main discussion point) and has some genuine quality but the pack
is missing a few. By my reckoning, we'd ideally add in 2 Lions,
our starting TH, a 100-cap international, the league's top
tackler and a du Preez. Plus the wunderkid TH.
That's my excuses in early

Are we disrespecting the tournament by dropping Baxter and
Collier???? :-)
All joking apart, my second least favourite away day, in terms
of the pasting generally received, but not always. I'd have
thought Smith might be rested to make sure he's rested before
Saint's & Toulouse but I imagine the opportunity to play against
a mentor/main rival for England shirt is difficult to pass up
on. God, just occurred to me he's got Ford, F Smith & Ntamack on
consecutive weeks. If that's not an audition for the 'shirt' I
don't know what is?
Anyway, will hope for the best but won't be surprised by the
alternative, always nice to give my least favourite coach the
hump though. Anyone going, enjoy and make sure you stand Yareet
a beer

I think the key with Sale is not to let their defence get its
line speed working. Lots of chips in behind, kick passes and
interchanges to give Smith a second touch and keep them
guessing...

Andre v Tuilagi !? This will be tasty - even more so if Andre
has no breakfast (or red meat) ![emoji13]

Yeah, confused by that comment. A really exciting young back 3,
a world class 10, a very talented loosehead, top international
hooker, a beast of a 2nd row, Ben Curry, the wrecking ball that
is JL du Preez... Rob du Preez has been excellent at 13 and Manu
is still a tricky guy to stop at the gain line.
Maybe a few players they'd prefer not to start (Harper,
Beaumont) and possibly a weaker than normal bench, but still...
