Needs a good shake up on the TNT "experts, they are now coming
across as tedious as Barnes and the Sky team were.
Why not simply just stick with a match commentator?

Just catching up on this thread and thought this was an odd
comment! Ugo I can absolutely see is Marmite... but what issue
do you have with Nick Mullins? He's a brilliant caller of the
game and a great interviewer in some of the feature interviews /
pre-game VTs throughout the season too. He rarely strays into
giving opinion or offering subjective punditry - and when he
does it's usually tongue-in-cheek or in good humour.
Intrigued to understand your aversion!

I think Mullins is a real annorak.
Clearly a lot of the stuff he does is preprepared and its just
too Geeky for me.
Again I think less and higher quality would be better than
talking constantly just to fill up air space.
It would also be good to have more of a range of commentators
because he seems to have a near monopoly....

Nope, not having that. Nothing is as tedious as Barnes! He who
decides before (probably weeks before) the game just who will be
talked up the most, even if they're playing abysmally.
