       I think it would be incredibly difficult. For more than the
       first 100 years every game was a friendly. Then when the merit
       tables started Quins would still have had top fixtures against
       teams not in their table as well as friendlies.
       That's also assuming there are accurate records. Rugby isn't
       like cricket.

       This is the unique player number we are discussing, nowt to do
       with the number on the back of the shirt when on't pitch.
       Do try to keep up.
       Personally I blame the abolition of the 11+.

       I know Bath have been accused of playing ten man rugby before,
       but I didn't realise they'd gone *that* far.

       Full disclosure, we had a debate elsewhere yuilagi vs guscott
       (guscott obvs) and it came up. I always assumed carling was OC,
       but looking back it's pretty obvious. Will dig out the video.
