Bath unique player numbers

Bah have apparently done their historical research and assigned
each of their players a unique number based on when they first
appeared:

I wonder if Quins will do the same at some point, and if so
whether they will assign the correct number of numbers to Chris
Robshaw.

It's a nice touch. I know some of the international teams do it.

When I saw this thread I just assumed they had signed so many
players they were worried there wouldn’t be enough numbers to go
round

I gather only 2200 of those came for London Irish.

Nice touch. I seem to recall the chap who produced the very
impressive tome for the 150th anniversary, nick cross, said
there was disagreement as to which games counted as a proper
quins cap / appearance. Can imagine some players would be miffed
to miss out, although perhaps it's only a very small handful

I hope they remembered not to assign the number 13.

If that's a reference for Lawrence, I will be very surprised if
he leaves, considering Bath have made him the face of their ST
campaign.

No, bath never used to have a 13 - hence guscott always played
12. He carried it over to England, so carling wore 13 although
he wss always inside centre and guscott outside.
