Will Quine ever make a profit
   DIR By: Banker

I was looking at the accounts and at the accumulated losses over
the years and I wonder if it is financially possible.
Without our sugar daddy we are in deep trouble, imho.
Don’t get me wrong, I love this club and follow it at home and
       abroad.
I just am interested how we can be a money club. Increase ticket
prices, better merch, or something else. Thoughts.

Unpopular opinion but we need a much bigger ground. If we had an
extra 5k capacity we would still probably sell it out.
Considering we don’t make much of a profit overall and that’s
two games at Hq, for a London based team as well supported as we
       are it pretty worrying

       No.
It's a reasonable question tbh. Very few rugby clubs are likely
to make a profit in the current environment.

Yeah. And everyone’s known that for years. And it’s been
discussed for years. So why open your account with a vague
question asking for comment on an old chestnut without bringing
       anything new to the party?

Nope. Just increase the north stand to where the village is. Or
the west to the river. Easy extra 5k without affecting any
       residents.

And without anyone funding it , brilliant plan

There's an outside chance of a profit (in the men's game) this
year of we get a home knockout game or if BSKO gets into the
upper tier. It's a long haul but Quins are close to
profitability now and once they get over the line it should be
       fairly sustainable.
Laurie was clear a the State of Play evening that an expanded
stadium isn't on the cards until we have profitability on the
current site (and probably have the COVID loan payback under
       control)

Because not everyone is steeped in the knowledge of this stuff.
You're probably right, but I think it's worth remembering how
few people are aware of or understand the reality of English
       rugby finances.
       If it's a troll I don't really understand it, because it's the
       reality for everyone.
