i had the pleasure of watching saracens 2 nd xv today against
Caldy in a howling gale .. James johnson . lean mean fighting

Tough to swallow alright. Mind you, imagine conceding 100
against the same team in two games and neither match was played
on their home ground?

According to the BBC, Bordeaux had five tries disallowed in the
first half. They could have scored another 35 points.
I almost feel sorry for Sarries. Almost. Well, not really. Not
at all. Not one iota.

Yep they had 5 disallowed but correct decisions.
Gloating about Sarries loss may be what the cool kids do, but
let’s be careful. We’ve been humped by Toulouse and Sarries (x2)
they’ve both been royally humped by Boudreaux. So, the omens
don’t look good for an away win do they.
We are capable of massive games and huge upsets but for all my
Quins tinted glasses cannot see how we win this one. I really
hope we do but it’s a big ask.

Unfortunately, I agree. Difficult to see how we're going to live
with their power game. I see it going the same way as Toulouse
at home.
If we are going to conjure up a shock win, its going to be a
monumental physical effect coupled with spotless game management
from DC and Smith.

The difference is that I don't see us beating Bordeaux as a
divine right, although we are definitely capable of an upset and
a diamond performance is long overdue.
Gloating at Sarries, or more specifically a large number of
their fans, is always a pleasure. True to form, they're nowhere
to be seen or heard, for which we should all be thankful.
