Hopefully the ref who incorrectly sent Fin Smith to the bin for
playing the ball from an offside position despite no ruck having
been formed will do the right thing and rescind sarries' try
bonus point from Friday night.

I haven't seen that incident but there can be an offside line at
a tackle - you don't need a ruck.

OK, so you haven't seen it - but you thought you'd impart your
knowledge anyway? Not like you :)
Have a watch. It's an interesting one. As far as I can see, the
ball having left the tackle area removed the offside line, if
indeed there even was a tackle or anyone over the ball - but I'm
sure there are plenty with a more intricate understanding of the
joke book we call the current laws.
