Either way I haven't seen a team being ripped to pieces by
50-22s like that in a short space. Of time at any point since
the law was brought in. It was the equivalent of giving away a
penalty in midfield, because they would never have kicked points
anyway.
Before today I never had an issue with 50-22s but it was
basically a cheat code for bath in those closing stages.

One was a bunch of bizarre bounces on a transition play iirc but
the Russell one was a peach of a kick in response to how Quins
were set up. If you can do it...
Regardless of whether it's happening to a team I support, it's a
rubbish law that gives far too much advantage in what is
sometimes checkmate scenarios.

Bath can feel hard done by. I hope no cheating was involved,
leaves a bitter taste if that happened.

You'll have to let us know how to get rid of that taste Marsile.

Sorry couldn't help myself. Anyway back to the game - I was up
in the Lake District this weekend, so was following the game via
the Twitter feed from between my fingers. How did Lewies play
today after last week? I'm hoping he just needs some consistent
game time.

Herbst was an obvious yellow. Lynagh one looked harsh to me. Was
it?
Th real joke decision was when the ref called their try held up.
Touch judge intervened, once again, in favour of bath. Ref then
awards try despite no clear footage of try being scored. Unless
tmo had something not being shown in the ground. Possible
forward pass to "scorer" not reviewed either. Both touch judges
were refereeing more than the guy in the middle. Ref seemed to
favour bath.
When quins start to let teams back in, they often can't stop the
rot. Not sure what the coaches can do. Where was the on field
leadership. All it needed was to stop kicking straight to them.
Kick to touch or along ground, or just keep hold for a few
phases.

Lynagh's was definitely yellow. Just flapped a hand at the ball
to knock it forward with a clear overlap out wide

Fair enough. Didn't look as blatant to me as some but wasn't
much complaining in the ground
