Maybe. But maybe not. I mean look at last time we played Sarries
- we followed up by smashing Sale at home in the next game at
the Stoop.
As said, you can't judge either team's season on the results
between us.

I can't imagine that is the case. What would be the point for
guys coming back from the 6N? What would the morale be like if
the team wasn't able to give it a proper go at the spurs stadium
against Saracens?
The team played that poorly against Munster during the layoff.
We don't have a defence coach any more. I don't think we need to
invent reasons to be hopeful that seem to hinge on the idea that
we could only be that bad on purpose

And we should never judge the season on one very poor
performance.

Based on last weekend, when we had pretty much a first-choice
team on the field (give or take), it would not be surprising if
we didn't win another match before Bristol at home on the last
day of the season. I am not basing anything on the fact that we
lost (who expected otherwise?), but on the manner of the loss,
which does not bode well. If we get smashed by Bath and then
surrender to Glasgow, might heads roll? Or come tomorrow
evening, will we be saying "What a performance ... Sarries was
clearly just a one-off." I would not put money on it being the
latter.

Last Saturday was one of the worst quins performances since the
game went professional. All sides can have bad games of course,
but to drop off as much as we did, as well as other recent
games, suggests it’s probably not going to be a one off. I hope
I’m wrong, I want to enjoy the BSKO as a game which has a lot
riding on it
Mate from the gym is an avid quins fan for 30+ years, went to
the game Saturday and said it was the worst he’d ever seen and
the highlight was a nice kebab from the high road. If Quins
don’t at least run Bath close and actually compete, I think it
brings a lot of things into question, and raises some alarm
bells for next season
