Hopefully, we learn the actual team by mid-dayish tomorrow.
But, here is my preferred team :

It wouldn't surprise me if we get the teams announced today,
given it's Good Friday Bank Holiday tomorrow...

Launchbury looked knackered last weekend (even more than the
rest of the team, and they all looked spent from a few mins in)
- I'd be tempted to give Herbst his enforcer spot and keep
Hammond in the 5 shirt.
I'm now convinced Walker should be let go at the earliest
opportunity - he used to offer sound technical basics at best,
now he can't even provide the set piece platform. Riley starts
for me, with Jibulu on the bench (although whatever happened to
Head? Hope to see him back in the quarters soon...)
Equally, for all the hype, I've never been convinced by Beard -
lots of running sideways, tripping over his own laces. Lots of
slipping off tackles. If we're going to have a centre on the
bench I'd rather see Anyanwu.
I doubt David will be fit - looked like he put his shoulder out
completely - so I wonder if we'll see Cleaves on the bench. That
would be something to get excited about...
I actually think some of the above would address the fact that
last week wasn't anywhere near good enough. Whilst I understand
the need for continuity in selection, if more-or-less the same
team as last week trots out I'd struggle to feel that we weren't
rewarding failure.

Is it just me or does that look significantly worse than it
would have done a week ago :(

Fairly alarming that despite a generous break, Joe played like
he's been playing 80 minutes rugby twice a week for a month. I
wonder how our conditioning coach has been keeping the side?
Judging by the Sarries game, we probably don't have one!
How Walker starts ahead of Riley is amazing. He has rarely
looked as assured as some of our hookers in the past (Scott
Baldwin)

Walker is a really weird one. I genuinely think he's our 4th
best hooker, if indeed Head is still around.

I didn't watch the game (too busy with Women's 6 Nations games
[whistles]) but if several of the squad looked out of sorts
after a mid-season break I wonder if we've "done a Borthwick"
here.
A possibility is that the club took the view that the Sarries
game was essentially unwinnable and maintained a heavy training
load (like England did in the RWC warm ups) with a view to being
in shape for Bath, Saints etc.
Historically we have had a pretty good conditioning team
(remember Bristanbul Quinstantinople?) so I doubt they'd have
let the squad come out of what is basically a mid-season window
for pre-season style training like that without some plan behind
it.
