It's a pretty long video, but it's by far the best analysis of
England you'll find anywhere on the internet, made by someone
who has legitimately worked as an analyst.

Watched this on Friday night. Added another layer to watching
Saturday’s game - especially staying in the fight and drop
goals.

There was some good signs for sure against Ireland, however the
real test is if England can keep that focus and application as
part of their standard approach. It will mean absolutely nothing
if England travel to France and then roll over again, so this
will be truly a test of some of the drive and motivation with
the players - as they've demonstrated they can do it. I
anticipate SB to make no changes, as I guess he will back the
same players in the same fashion which got us the win.
I'd like to see Marcus given a start, and possibly Freeman
coming in at 13, with Muir/Roebuck or even Steward coming in.
Daly has finally shown the one thing he's kept in the squad for
(with his boot) he can't even use that when called upon

Indeed. He's had one match in a year which has been an
acceptable performance (of course, much more than acceptable, it
was incredible, but one swallow).
Just hope he gives Marcus the shirt and lets them play like that
again.

Lots of truisms in that video (you need buy-in, playing in the
opposition half is preferable and staying int he fight), and
basically he's saying that the only way to win is to play like
we have been, when in fact we completely changed everyhting and
came up with our best win in 5 years.
Wigglesworth is not kicking coach.
Steward was dropped, one of the main reasons we won, and Ford
was not great and didn't kick a lot.
But hey, apart from that it's great.

Wigglesworth was originally brought in as a kicking coach, and
I'm pretty sure this is even mentioned in that video.

Yeah, it was quite funny to see him dismiss the idea that the
criticism of England's negativity was unwarranted by trotting
out the same old clichés about how it's all about defence, how
the most successful teams have a big set piece, that aggressive
attacking rugby is secondary - right before England's against
the odds victory with the best performance in years,
characterised primarily by England's commitment to quick ball
and attacking rugby.
I also have no idea what he's talking about when it comes to the
lions, framing the last tour as pretty rugby vs south Africa's
pragmatism. The lions were eye bleedingly awful in attack and
incredibly conservative and negative. SA were the braver team in
attack when it counted (also true in the semi final against
England, of course). What tour was he watching?
I had thought the cliché that attacking teams aren't the ones
that win trophies had long been put to bed, given the surfeit of
evidence from club rugby, provincial rugby, and international
rugby. But here we are again.
Edit: the bit about Saumaki being a brilliant moneyball pickup
who was tearing it up for tigers raised an eyebrow, too. He tore
it up in the premiership cup, and scored 2 of his three tries in
Europe against Connacht. He was a bit part player in the league,
and that has continued - four league matches since he joined in
2021 tells the tale.

Yes, the bit about the lions was crazy. He must have gone
through hours of footage to find that one clip of them actually
trying to go wide.
