       Is this a wind up?
Some of England's best performances since 2003 have come
courtesy of George Ford. He was for a long time the best ten in
the country. With him at fly half, England battered teams
(Australia series away, NZ RWC semi final, grand slam). At the
world cup he personally dragged England out of the mire against
Argentina. As of a couple of years ago, England's winning
percentage with him at 10 vs Farrell at 10 was hugely in his
favour and I doubt that has changed much.
I can understand thinking he's not as good as he used to be, but
his England career has been about Farrell being boosted into the
10 shirt before very quickly being forced to 12 because Ford was
the superior player. He is comfortably the best fly half England
have had since JW and his record proves it. Saying he never
should have worn the shirt and suggesting that the former junior
world player of the year only did so because of nepotism is
       genuinely looney tunes stuff.
