And now we are the best team in the world. That was a terrific
game and performance. I really hope that this is the new
England. Daley nearly made his selection justified but it’s his
time to go. Not his fault that Borthwick keeps picking him.
First time my heart has been thumping during an England game
since I don’t know when. Quins players won it for England of
course…. with the rest of the team making huge contributions
too. I need a lie down now.

If only Borthwick had had the option of picking a different
player. Maybe one with a great try scoring record. But I guess
England's loss is Italy's gain.

Probably England's best all round performance since 2019, maybe
with the exception of the SA match that Marcus also won at the
death.
Very impressive stuff, a world away from the ultra negative
nonsense and the attacking shambles of the previous match.
Let's hope this is the new blueprint - I was fully expecting us
to fall short with an hour gone but was more than satisfied with
the performance at that point and would have been very upbeat
even if we had lost.
Great to see big impact off the bench from the Quins boys,
although Danny was pretty bad!

An infuriatingly useless attempt at a grubber had me swearing at
him, but he redeemed himself by actually playing though the
advantage as if we didn't have one, which he hardly ever does.

At the game today. It was clear from the off that England were
up for it today.
Despite not posing a massive try threat, we should've been
further ahead at half time and I thought we'd live to regret
Ford's wayward kicking, but we showed some real attacking intent
in the second half (the first time for god knows how long).
Earl had a stormer.
Furbank has to stay in. Makes Steward look increasingly
one-dimensional.
All the Quins lad put a decent showing in from the bench.
Let's hope we keep the attacking intent for the France game.
Still, most positive outing for a long time. And I don't have to
suffer the inlaws bleating.

I genuinely think England wanted it more. Not often you can say
that about an England side in the 6 nations.

I think Ireland were convinced we would roll over and a win was
a formality -surprise surprise 😎
