Knowing the RFU they’ve asked old rags man to boot the ball into
the crowd or run sideways across the pitch before dropping
whatever he is carrying

-Sorry, just for clarity, do you mean Borthwick's or the
singer's?

I remember the happy time when organisers assumed that people
who go to sport see the sport as the entertainment
At half time I want to chat to the people around me about the
game not listen to loud music I do not like blasted at 10000
decibels
Is why I have stopped bothering with big sports events
Organisers assume everyone wants to listen to this s==t and are
so stupid they must be "entertained" for every second of the
event

It's nice the RFU are making it a good day out for the away
fans. A real spectacle, and usually a convincing victory!

The Times are reporting that Fin Smith picked up an injury in
training:
--- Quote ---
> It is believed Smith pulled up in training last week, when
England were in York. He did not take part in full training
during England’s open session last Friday in front of thousands
of fans, with George Furbank, the full back, occasionally
stepping in at No 10.
> Smith also did not train with England at their Bagshot base on
Monday. The hope is that he will miss only the Ireland game, and
could return for the final Six Nations match away to France in
Lyon on March 16.

Looks like Ford will start & Smudger will be on the bench (he
trained with the full squad this week).
