He's been a bit under my radar. Anyone know if he's any good?

If it’s a like for like, that’s a big downgrade from what I’ve
seen. Starts less than a third of Gloucesters games. Fine if
he’s third choice, but if Lewis is stepping up, we will still
need someone decent. I’m just looking forward to this money
we’ve saved on collier, Andre and Lynagh being invested into
getting players to keep us competing for the top spots….

Not gonna happen. The money we save on them will be invested in
staying under the cap...
For me, the question is not where Knight is starting today (he's
behind a couple of internationals) but whether Bomb can develop
him. We've got a better track record of getting value from less
well known players (Dombrandt, Northmore, Green, David, Mike
Ross) than we have from superstars (though the recent crop have
had a higher hit rate than in the past).

He's got some good meat on him at 6' 2" and 19st / 121kg so give
Bomb half a season to get him neutralising opposition LHs and
I'll be happy.
Also, the club posted a social media clip of Caleb Ashworth
(academy TH) rumbling over from a maul this week. He looks like
a Russian science experiment! So if Lewis and Knight can keep
our scrum steady for a few seasons the next generation of props
looks interesting (I wonder if Hobson is deemed to be good
enough by the coaches to pick up some workload too).

Ashworth is giant sized for a prop, must be around 6’5.
Interestingly he played in the second row when he came on
against London Scottish a couple weeks ago.
