If our army of coaches can’t find a way to prosper without one
player (and yes the bloke is a fantastic player), then you do
have to question their abilities. We won them Prem with him and
without him. My greater concern is the number of high quality
players we are losing/rumoured to be losing at the end of this
season. Andre, Lynagh, Collier on their own is a pretty big
dent and I can’t see how Lewies can carry on without ever being
fit. If it’s then true about Chis as well, I think we’ve got an
Exeter style rebuild needed.

I would be cautious about going out and splashing money on a new
12 if Andre goes.
Roberts didn't perform.
Lasike did score a few tries, but received a lot of cards and
his defence was questionable.
Most people on this board thought that Andre was poor in his
first season. 2 red cards didn't help
People on this board didn't rate Jones either - although he came
good at the end of his stay.
On the other hand, I can't think of many academy guys that have
let us down. Some of them - eg. Marcus Smith, Mike brown and the
robshaws were/are alright.
Í think that if Andre leaves, and we do want to splash the cash,
then we should look at the front row and scrum half.

I think both Beard and Murley have played centre, but at 13.
I can see us bringing in a relatively unknown (in UK) South
African. In the same vein as Tyrone, which worked out pretty
well.

I think you're rewriting history to suit your narrative. Posters
generally thought ester was an absolute beast, while also
thinking he was a bit of an idiot for picking up absolutely
unnecessary reds and leaving us in the lurch.
Jones was very, very poor for us until he moved the full back
late in the season, at that point he had a massive resurgence
and hasn't looked back since.

Not sure the players leaving will create the financial headroom
to recruit big name replacements. The savings will just bring us
in line with the new regulations perchance?
