As much as this is bad news on the pitch it may be a deal we
can’t refuse off it. Hopefully a replacement will be named soon
       enough.

Definitely a player we've done extremely well to keep hold of
for as long as we have.

The issue for me is how integral he has been to our style of
play. Even if we have a decent amount of money coming in from
the transfer fee, finding someone to do what he does is almost
       impossible.
I know some rate Anyanwu but honestly, I don’t think he has the
       quality to replace Andre.

Very few players in the world have the quality to replace Andre.
Lenny has an advantage in having trained with and learned from
Andre. But he's nowhere near Andre's quality, and likely never
       will reach it.

We must be looking at bringing someone in as there are no
current players able to fill the Andre void next season

While Andre has been fantastic for us we're not going to get a
like for like replacement. The salary cap means that we will
have to work within our means and that's going to mean promoting
internally, looking elsewhere in the UK or maybe for a non-test
       player from SA.
We do have options for 12 such as Anyanwu and Northmore, and if
necessary then our game plan will have to change to reflect who
       is available to play.
That being said, we do only have 6 centres listed on the current
squad page, so we need to get more cover there somehow.

Andre is a player with a very distinctive combination of size
and skill, so it's very unlikely we will find a direct
replacement for him. But I checked out his stats versus Lennox's
over the period when they both played a number of games last
year, and they were remarkably similar in terms of metres, line
       breaks and defenders beaten.
Anyanwu probably won't give the sheer go forward off slow ball
that Andre can, but he's quicker in space (Andre would not have
been there to finish that remarkable try that he started on our
own try line and ran the supporting line to finish). Quins have
done a very good job at replacing the irreplaceable over the
past few years, so I remain hopeful.

We do have some academy guys as well though.
I think this is the list (excluding Andre):
       Luke Northmore
       Lennox Anyanwu
       Oscar Beard
       Hayden Hyde
       Bryn Bradley
       Ben Waghorn
       Ludo Kolade
       Will Joseph
       Franklin McMillan
       Sean Kerr
And Tom Humphreys (listed as a winger) has made a couple of
appearances for Richmond at inside centre.
One good point is that a lot of our academy players are getting
a lot of quality game time as dual reg players. Quite often
match reports are highlighting their achievements - e.g. tries /
PoTMs / etc. This makes it easier for them to step up to the
       main squad.

       Bad news for Quins frankly...
I don't see anyone as replacing him, Northmore seems permanently
broken Lennox is a smaller, less talented version of the same
type of player and we don't really have another 12. I can't see
Ollie Lawrence leaving Bath, but they've signed a LOT of players
recently and maybe they don't have the cap space?

We are going to be pretty underwhelming next season at this
       rate!
