Should say I'd also be gutted to lose him. Like others have
said, I think he's got a real point of difference that our other
wingers don't have. He's a big, powerful, strong runner
(sometimes I think more powerful than he realises).

Benetton currently sit second, P9 W7 D1 L1. While Zebre are
still accustomed to playing near the bottom of the table,
Treviso have over the last few years moved up the rankings.
Plus, he may feel that he wants to play regularly against SA &
Irish sides as that will help his international career.
Currently he'd only be guaranteed two URC and two French
opponents each season if playing in the Premiership.
Not saying that I want him to leave, but there's some logic
behind it.

There have been rumblings for a few weeks now so could well be
agent stuff. He would be a loss but let's be honest, the club
aren't forcing him out the door, his form was poor at the
beginning of the the season and his performance against Ulster
was hopefully a return to the title winning form but if he is
moving, he's not innocent in this.

Tbf I find it odd you guys are playing anderson on the wing.
He's a 15 who very occasionally fills in at 13. Always played 15
when at wasps, and doesn't play on the wing for Scottish. I'm
not surprised he hasn't pulled up any trees for you guys yet.

I think it's because we simply had no one else available.
Cassius is/was injured, Murley was also still out. We've even
played Joseph on the wing, which indicates we are a bit thread
bare in that department.

Fair enough! Looking forward to cassius being back fit, saw
plenty of glimpses at scottish last year that there's a special
player there.

makes no sense to me, already Italy qualified if he wanted and
can walk in to Italy squad without having to move there. Better
rugby at Quins in the prem with a better team, was on the verge
of an England spot until he got injured and only really just
come back from that. He's only had a couple of games since he's
been fit again and was playing superb rugby prior to the injury
so I'd be gutted to see him leave. Yes his defence has been a
bit pants the first game or so back but you expect that sort of
thing with a whole season layoff. Part of the squad trimming
thing maybe?

We played Anderson after lynagh had just played, when he wasn't
listed as unavailable. There was comment at the time that it was
odd he'd been preferred. Some thought it was due to lynagh's
form / defence, others that something was going on
