Italy qualified and not handed an England cap... but he may just
be ruffling Borthwick's feathers.

Italy qualified? I may be missing something here but I thought
he was Australia qualified via his Dad........

Wouldn't be surprised if this is true tohugh, and perhaps him
not being involved in the side recently could have been a side
effect of negations .

Not good news. He's not just an average squad player. He's in
competition to be first choice wing. Earlier this season there
was a thread arguing about who was better, him or David.
Cam Anderson is not a suitable replacement. Aren't they a
similar age, and lynagh much better?

The part of this potential move that doesn't make sense to me
is... he's already Italy qualified. Italy need the best players
they can get from anywhere in Europe so playing for an English
club isn't a barrier to selection. I can't imagine he would earn
more money playing for Treviso, nor would he play in front of
bigger crowds, nor would he win many matches. So supposedly
moving to play international rugby for Italy doesn't really make
much sense to me?!
Hopefully just agent tactics!
