I agree but I didn't bring it up. I was responding to poorfour,
although on reflection I suspect that isn't quite what he meant.

For the avoidance of doubt, I was talking about the skill levels
rather than the physical force. Pretty much any serious adult
men's team would overpower even the top women's international
teams; but that's true of almost all sports where muscle power
is a major factor, and it shouldn't invalidate women's sport
just because there's a difference.
Actually, one of the things I like about watching women's rugby
is a consequence of the comparative lack of power: there tend to
be fewer breaks in women's games. Fewer injury breaks, and less
time spent giving the forwards a breather.

As a more direct comparison, there is of course the Womens RL
(Womens Super League in the UK and NRLW in Aus). That's growing,
particularly the NRLW. There's also the AFL Womens in Australia
that's in the same arena & is fast expanding. That I know
anecdotally from someone I know in Aus has been very well
received and the speed of expansion has been rapid.

And I imagine that the team behind PWR, WXV etc are learning as
much as they can from that.
