a Champions League style tournament with the French and Saffers.

To be hoenst, even without Arabian interest, a British League
may be for the best. Current 10 English teams, the 4 Irish
teams, 4 Welsh and the 2 Scots team. Maybe in a conference style
with play offs to British champions with the four main British
rugby stadiums taking in turns to host the final.
Then a French/Italian teams in a joined up league to compliment
it. I'm surprised the Italian teams did not join the Top 14 in
the first place. Spanish, Georgian and Romanian teams can join
together and then all three leagues compete together in a
       European competition.

cant wait for the rule change that states once you score more
than 5 tries in a match you get to kick for the golden rugby

Sorry Dazza, we'll have to agree to disagree on that one. It
suits everyone rather than the English clubs and the others
won't go with it unless it guarantees them European
qualification and bear in mind central contracts and release
clauses. It'll be a product that won't work for us.
Do like the thought of the lesser European teams having a
European league with the chance to get up to play the bigger
       sides.

It’s weird on social media the same people that always shout “
The clubs needs the money” as any justification, on ticket
prices, games across the road, renting out North village etc
Appear to be the very same people that shout “ You can’t take
       Saudi dirty money”

Assume you're referring to the snooker thing. It's such a lame,
       pointless and lazy idea.

Is it that weird? I don't really see the hypocrisy of "the club
needs to make money so putting up their prices and renting out
areas is fair enough" vs "we'd rather oppressive regimes didn't
own a stake in the club"

I think CVC will welcome some investment from Financial
Institutions that typically look at a long term return on
investment rather than the City culture that typically aims to
lever a quick few £££s then get out.
As commented elsewhere - the sport needs to develop a format and
style that appeals more and more to TV and digital distribution
channels to generate the advertising revenues. Stadium ticket
sales won't generate nearly enough to allow Pro Clubs to
survive. That's |CVC's role which they will pursue vigorously. I
don't see the RFU having much say in this detail, they'll just
       exist to milk HQ.
Football's trajectory across the last 15/20 years might give
some ideas as to my theories.
       Hey ho!

Why is SA money dirty ? How about their EVs running on
batteries made from resources mined with child slave labour
across West and Central Africa with high mortality rates? (I do
know something about that topic from recent personal experience
       in the region)
