Erm, so letting them use refunds on money you’ve already paid
them for your season ticket that they’ve credited back to you
for letting them sell the ticket to someone else at a higher
price and have been holding for you in what is, effectively, an
interest free loan to the club doesn’t count as making money?
Quins credit is a neat mechanism, because it allows them to
incentivise you to resell tickets you can’t use, but it’s the
same as a shop refunding a purchase onto a gift card: the money
is yours, but it stays in their financial ecosystem, just
waiting for you to use it for something.
But it is definitely a win:win for Quins, and a psychological
win for you, because as you’ve demonstrated you get to buy
something you didn’t have with money you’d already mentally
spent.

Fans: “We need our club to be more financially sustainable!”
TV: “OK, we’ll pay good money and broadcast matches across the
weekend, attracting casual viewers with Friday evening and
Sunday kick offs.”
Fans: “No, not like that!”

Bloke in pub fresh from a protest picket line about building a
mobile phone mast in his area. "better ring the missus and tell
her what time I'll be back". No Signal. Curses.

Well, I used public transport for last week's Friday night game.
I was lucky in that I got onto the train within about 5 mins of
arriving in TW station. That meant I was on an earlier train
heading back out, and it was still after 1am when I got home.
Given the Warriors game is 15mins later k/o, I doubt I'll be so
lucky for that one, so I'll be stuck with the last train out of
Marylebone & get home around 2am.
As soon as you get more than a few stops away (especially if
connections are needed) find Friday games a real pain in the
proverbial.

You said they wouldn't be making much... they'll make exactly
the same amount as if you'd bought the tickets with cash, though
I suppose they will lose whatever future interest they might
have earned for looking after the money for you.

The tickets give instructions for saving to a file on mobiles.
Can anyone tell me whether it’s possible to save them to the
Apple Wallet?
Thanks.
