Great move for him, and even better if it stops Racing sniffing
around Smith for a few more years.
Carter, Sexton, Russell and Farrell is quite the collection of
fly-halves Racing have had in the last decade

Honestly best outcome for everyone, gives England a chance to
develop without building everything around Farrell.
His achievements speak for themselves but good time for him to
move on and get a nice payday before retirement.

Even better that they couldn't tempt Marcus

His 'achievements' in winning trophies should be treated in the
same context as Lance Armstrong's 'achievements' in winning
       yellow jerseys.

Well, Lance Armstrong was doing the same as most of his rivals.
He was still the best and it was arguably a level playing field.
None of them were clean. Sarries had a very distinct advantage

I've seen Damian McKenzie listed as a possible replacement. Him
and marchant at sarries would make me a tad jealous

I heard a rumour that Racing won't be playing at La Défense
Arena from next season - but, I have no idea how much truth
       there is in it.

I think it's more that at the start of the season La Defense
will still be configured for Olympics/Paralympics use & it will
take a little while for it to go back to the usual setup. The
Paralympics finishes on the 8th of September, and the Top14
normally (at least Pre-covid & RWC2023) starts around 3rd week
       in August.
