Don’t suppose we could get a sensible kick off eg 3pm Saturday?
I guess all matches are televised so any time from Friday to
Sunday evening.

Shame that 5 of the 8 matches feature teams who have already
played each other once in the competition.

And two are teams from the same domestic leagues.

Saturday, or not too late Sunday means that we will be able to
go. That in itself will pretty well guarantee either a Friday
night or late Sunday game.

Yup. Our tie is the only fixture between teams who haven’t
already played each other this season.
On the other hand, the QF match ups are a lot more exciting -
only if Quins and Sarries both win do we end up with a tie
between teams from the same league or country. And the pool
system produced an exciting final round, so I imagine they will
stick with that.
My guess would be that next season they might tweak the seeding
system so that the knock out games are between seeds within
different pools rather than an end-to-end seeding.

Highest seed out of the winners gets home advantage. Ironically,
that probably leaves Quins hoping for a Saracens win in the QFs
so that they get an additional home game rather than going away
to UBB. Form suggests we’ve got a decent chance to make the
quarters but making the semis would be a stretch, so might as
well hope for the option that makes more cash.
