European knockout

Question for the stattos ..
How many European Champions Cup (including all different guises)
knockout games have we played in, and how many have we won ?

2 played at home (vs Leinster and Munster) and both lost. Did we

We won the racing 2nd round 2nd leg. Was a knockout game.
We lost the tie of course.

Although one of those didn’t really feel like a home game, of
course :-(

In the professional era we are P7 W1 L6 but lost all six ties as
one was two legged.
2008/9 - Lost 6-5 to Leinster (h) - memorable for all the wrong
reasons.
2012/13 - lost 12-18 at home to Munster. Stupid ticketing rules
made home advantage worthless.
2021/2 - Montpellier. Lost two legged tie by 1pt
Lost 26-40 (a) and won 33-20 (h) including probably the best try
we’ve scored at home in my lifetime. Marcus missed an easy kick
where we would have had it but the real crime was a mad 15 mins
where we shipped 30 in absolutely no time.
2022/3 - lost 32-28 (a) at stormers in cape town. We scored
twice late - wasn’t as close as it looks.
We made back to back quarters in 96-98 and were away at Toulouse
(L 51-10) and Leicester (L 23-13) respectively. We are 0/6 all
time in knockouts and have never made a semi final.
The last three years will be by far our best streak in the main
dance, having done quite well in the challenge cup over the
years.

I forgot about the two-legged ties so counted them as one. Also
don't remember the early ones but that's just my memory - I
should have remembered because I think they were around the time
we had quite an exciting cosmopolitan team.
Shouldn't it be P 8, W 1 L 7 in total, though?

One other thing I remember is BOd getting caught on his own try
line with the ball, and desperately hanging onto it in spite of
Ugo and Stretts trying to rip it from him. Should have been a
penalty - arguably a penalty try - but I think we got nothing.

Looking likely another bloody trip to the Stormers is in order
for the L16, unless we get a huge favour from Toulouse tomorrow
