Buses replace trains between Clapham Junction and Barnes /
Twickenham / Kew Bridge on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 January

Clapham Junction via Kingston ok, but going back is the dreaded
       bus service

No trains between Gatwick and East Croydon either! Means going
to Clapham a pain in the backside! Might try over at Leatherhead
instead and come north through there, gonna add about 45-60 mins
to the journey. Wish I'd bought parking

National rail enquiries are showing trains scheduled in both
directions via Kingston. Faster services from Clapham are 20
minutes, slower ones are 40 minutes. On the way back all trains
are showing as taking about 30 minutes.

As far as I can see there’s 4 trains an hour from Clapham
Junction, (and Waterloo), all via Kingston. Frustratingly the
fast and slow trains leave Clapham Junction within a minute of
each other. The slow train can be picked up at Wimbledon, Raynes
Park and Kingston. Still a pain though.

Thankfully the trains to & from Reading are for once actually
running, if you're coming from that direction (as I am).

Good luck! At least you don't head in the Paddington direction,
where it seems like around 98% of trains are delayed or
       cancelled...

Thanks. Last season I don't think I had a "normal" trip to the
Stoop once. Either had to go through Paddington or even loop all
the way on the Chiltern Chugger from Oxford through to
       Marylebone & across from there.
