Arthur Clark has joined as cover for Stephan & Dino

HARLEQUINS SIGN ARTHUR CLARK ON LOAN
Harlequins have today confirmed the arrival of Arthur Clark on a
short-term loan.
The Gloucester lock has joined the Club this week and will
provide cover across second-row following injuries to Stephan
Lewies and Dino Lamb.
The Hartpury College graduate has represented England U18 and
England U20 and has five Gallagher Premiership appearances for
Gloucester this season.
Clark will be available for selection for the Gallagher
Premiership match against Leicester Tigers.

And the corresponding news piece on the Gloucester site says
he's basically just joining the club for the Leicester game,
heading back to them on Monday the 29th. Hopefully that means
that either Dino or Stephan are expected to be back when the
club season starts up again.

Was impressed with Clark when I saw him in u20s games. Surprised
Gloucester have let him leave even if it is short term.

There must be more injured than just Stephan and Dino? Surely
Launchbury, Hammond, and Herbst is enough for a matchday squad
if Clark is only with us for the Tigers game?

If I recall correctly, Launchbury went off at half time last
week.
Also, I'm not sure if Herbst is 100% fit. I think he is
returning from injury

Hope Dino's injury isn't too bad. Shame for him before 6
nations. Looked so innocuous

Maybe the plan is to play Hammond at 6 in the Leics game (with
Dombrandt and CCS missing out). That way we still get LK cover
on the bench with Clark (JL and IH starting). There is also the
chance someone picks up a knock against Ulster.

sounds like our sicknote club captain won't be back soon - seems
he can play one or 2 games and thats his lot! Big shame as he is
an excellent lineout operator......
