The real question is does Mrs Esterhuizen want to move to the
south of France or are they settled in London. Never
underestimate the better half in transfer decisions.

Also, Toulon isn't always the best fit for a player. Let's hope
he's in contact with Kolbe and listens to his experience...

Piutau, Radradra, Smith... Plenty of players who were regarded
as superstars based on sub international displays.

I guess it boils down to whether he is deemed a marquis player,
how many international players can Quins afford to hold on to ?

Not sure Smith counts as a superstar based on sub international
displays. Personally I loved his battles with Neil Back

It might be that the large Saffa diaspora in SW London and
Surrey is an attraction for staying here. If the family is
settled and have friends in the area it can be tough to move.

Yes I think this might be a selling point if he is happy at the
moment, and i think that Quins fans are hoping this is why he
will stay, my job is not a rugby player and I know my market
value, a rugby players value is dependent on what country you
are in. I hope Quins have enough cash to keep Andre in west
       London.

Give a new contract to our injury prone club captain who happens
to be Andre’s best mate from SA

You'd have to think that we'd demand a hefty transfer fee for
Esterhuizen to leave early, and by the time his contract runs
out I believe the salary cap will have gone up enough for us to
match any offers he's getting from elsewhere. Until the rumors
are about more than just interest in signing him, I'm not going
       to worry about it particularly

       :-)
There's no question Marcus was box office before he ever took
the field for England. The sport isn't just internationals any
more and players who stands out in domestic competition can
       easily become stars
