Hopefully this will stop those harping on about how Brown should
be behind Daly in the race for the 15 shirt, Daly barely looked
up with ball in hand and his efforts under the high ball out
England in all sorts of trouble.
Daly looks better on the wing for England, I would also like to
see him in the 13 shirt so he can get more involved in the play.
Interesting to read the Saints board that there are the usual
suspects who will still manage to find a way to criticize
Robshaw even when not involved, apparently now he isn't a real

I like Daly, but especially in the first 20 minutes he really
let us down on balls Brown would have taken. He tried to leap
vertically where Brown comes from 5 yds back and owns it. He is
great in attack but yesterday showed just what we have taken for
granted for all of Brown's 72 caps

If I heard the ref correctly, Farrell was trying to wrap an
arm... But trying to make a legal tackle doesn't make it legal.
I get that it was judged legal. It does seem astonishingly
inconsistent with lesser tackles that are punished.

The ‘ new bloke ‘ is Jon Mitchell who was part of CW’s coaching
team in 2003! The big problem is he is not living in UK but a
commuter

Agree. If Manu is out of like to see Daly go to 13.

Farrell and Youngs didn't really get is paying rugby, but that's
hardly a surprise. I thought we loved better with care and ford
on.

A lot of our success was down to Young’s control and his superb
kicking.
Thought Farrell v good at 10.
Guess this is why we don’t get to pick!

...except that the rule is that you have to attempt to wrap - so
in this sense trying to make a legal tackle does make it legal.
Whether it was a particularly meaningful attempt is a separate
question of course.
