Seen on social media that Marcus is on holiday with his partner.
Makes me think he won't be in the squad for Friday. I guess the
club may figure it's the safest Prem game to rest him for.

Given the nature of the league this season it's hard to send a
weakened team for any game. Newcastle competed well against
sarries.
I'd hope Evans is fit if Marcus is on holiday. If not it'll be
interesting to see if Edwards or slevin are preferred

If it is to be Edwards and Slevin in the matchday 23, I'd guess
that Edwards will get the nod to start, given he's the more
experienced player.

The picture looked like it was somewhere with a temperature

I expected a couple of changes tbh. With the potential injuries
and a bit of rest/rotation (thought a few looked shattered) I
would go
Baxter
Walker
Collier
Herbst
Hammond (was in the training pics before BG)
CCS
Evans
Chisholm
Care
Slevin
Anderson
Andre
Beard
David
Green
Kerrod
Riley
Lewis
Launchbury
Kenningham/Lawday if fit
Edwards
Porter
Lynagh (would like to get him back involved)
We havea squad now that means we can rotate to keep players
fresh. Newcastle are a decent side, no easy games in the Prem
now but that is stilla strong squad imho

I'd rather we went with a strong team away at Newcastle and
rested/rotated a few for the Cardiff game.
Hopefully Jev is back and that's why they sanctioned a rest week
for Marcus.
