I had a plastic bottle with a plastic lid of whiskey confiscated
last time out. Couldn't get a straight answer as to why from the
security bloke,

I wouldn't have noticed we're it not for this thread, but the
number of grown men without young children carrying full size
rucksacks yesterday was pretty odd.

What you can and can’t take into the stadium is daft. You can go
in with as many coins and keys as you like and I know what I’d
rather get hit by and they sell them in the bars with the lids
on. At least you could see a bottle of water coming towards you.
Saying that it’s for safety and security is not true when you
can purchase equally dangerous items within the grounds. I
carried my sandwich and carton of drink through security and was
searched without any confiscations.
