Wow Anderson is the wildcard - from London Scottish to starting
in Big Game. 🤔

That is a very odd call. To drop lynagh when your top try scorer
is already injured, and bring in someone for their debut, ahead
of cleaves too
Very harsh to drop Chisholm. If Dino is fit, he starts, but
rather see him at lock ahead of Lewies. Lewies is not a form
selection
Hope those calls don't backfire

I'm getting Matthew Tait vs Wales with the roof closed vibes
already.
I can only assume Anderson has shown more all round game than
Cassius, as he was probably in contention at the start of the
season, as well as that Roma fella.

3 fbs in our back 3. Maybe expecting an aeriel bombardment.
Like the team. CCS prob needed a rest. Few either or calls but
no real complaints.

We shouldn't be selecting a team based on perceived opposition
strengths, especially when the opposition in question aren't
playing well. Play to you your own strengths

Can only say from what they've shown at scottish, but imo
anderson was our best backline player last season (including
cleaves when he played) and by a long way. Though pretty much
exclusively at fb and 13 though so you wing seems an odd choice

Interesting. I'd have started Chis, with Dino as a bench option
to cover flank and lock. Not sure I know anything about Anderson
so can't say anything about him. Glad to see Beard starts, and
good to see Lennox again.

Agree to an extent, I was just putting forward a theory.
Although I do think every team makes choices based on the oppo
in some way shape or form (6/2 bench splits, locks in the BR for
certain games etc)

Apart from his sometimes shockingly weak tackling? That might be
why.
